Who is this for?
Are you interested in deepening your connection to Plants and legacies of plant medicine in a way that honours Indigenous, Diasporic, and decolonial ways of knowing either at your own pace or in a guided virtual community experience? You’re in the right place. We are a school for Black, Indigenous, racialized & allied people who love plants and healing justice.
What can You expect?
Our courses are intended for people who want to learn through live online classes, recorded video modules, hands-on medicine making, and self-directed learning. We welcome all students into our intergenerational learning circle. Come as you are, with any level of knowledge. This is a space for herbalists who are just beginning to explore plant medicine to skilled herbalists who want to learn (and unlearn) from a decolonial perspective. Limited scholarships are available for Black, Indigenous, and other racialized folks for our Herbal Mentorship Program
The courses offer plant medicine knowledge based on ethnography and oral history, peer-reviewed research, folk medicine, traditional healing systems, and personal relationships developed with plants that take years of practice to come to understand.

7-10 hours of monthly virtual course content

Monthly medicine tasting with materials provided
Receive a package of goodies (herbal remedies, tea tasting bundle, medicine making supplies, and other good stuff)
Email support (for technical issues and account management)
Access to the material for 3 years
Personalized email support
Students can expect to spend 3-5 hours a week on the material (based on an 8-month schedule)
